Through the thunder and lightning, Elena drove on. She was committed to following through, no matter the cost. A giant bolt struck a tree on the right side of the road. She swerved to avoid it and nearly ran off the road.

She needed to slow down, it wasn’t safe anymore. But she couldn’t, they were right on her tail, and they were gaining on her.

She hit a giant dip in the road and water splashed all over the windshield. She hit the brakes hard and came to a complete stop. It was too late, now they had her.
