More Superficial
Poetry / Lyrics
We best keep moving on now, They don’t see where we are,
Whatever you were dreaming, I wont mention what is lost.
Why can’t I be, more superficial, Something in me hides all the trouble,
Well I know your feelings, black and white, So my heart has run away, in the shadows of your mind.
‘Cause I’ve been in love, where they settle up with lies,
Yes I’ll be in love and you can’t tell me how to like.
If someday you are lonely, You can reach me through the dark,
And I’ll travel ‘cross the ocean, Just to race into your arms.
Why can’t I be, more superficial, Something in me finds all the trouble,
See I know your landscape from all sides, So my heart has run away in the shadows of your mind.
‘Cause I’ve been in love, where they settle up with lies,
Yes I’ll be in love and you can’t tell me how to like.
Why can’t I be, more superficial, Whatever you say, it’s something special,
And I’d take forever, in those eyes, So my heart has run away in the shadows of your mind.
‘Cause I’ve been in love, where they settle up with lies,
Yes I’ll be in love and you can’t tell me, You can’t tell me, How to like.
