“I don’t quite understand,” you say. “From what I heard, Robbie is a violent man.”
And indeed, his rough, unkempt look and square jaw suggest that the man is a ruffian.
Robbie and Helga clasp hands and look lovingly in each others’ eyes. You see the spark of romance that reminds you of your partner.
“Used to be. My Helga changed all that.”
“Please, stranger, will you talk to my parents? Make them see reason?”
“Be warned,” Robbie adds, “they know the elders of the Merchant’s Guild. Powerful aristocrats.”
More merchants? You’re beginning to sense their bad reputation isn’t unfounded…
