Intriguingly, upon arrival in China, Sam is greeted by another family, suggesting he is leading a double life. The narrative hints at potential future complications due to his secretive personal affairs.

The Entertainment Centre which Sam Hardless is about to establish needs more funds.

“I expect this team to get more funds for this project before the end of this week,” says Sam.

“But, we need until the end of the month, as we have a few financiers who will inform us about their decision,” says a young male executive sitting at the Conference table.

“That’s not good enough. I pay you all a handsome salary. I expect to see results soon. If the target is not met by the 30th of this month, you will all receive your first warnings,” says Sam in a harsh tone of voice.

The executives at the board meeting are shocked when he next tells them that if they fail to reach their targets by the end of the following month, they will all lose their jobs.

No one liked Sam for his attitude and the way he ran his company it was more like being under a dictatorship.

The staff at Sam’s company did what they were ordered and knew that if they did not perform well at their duties, they would be replaced almost immediately.

Sam was not someone a mugger would want to meet in a dark alley, if one did, then Sam would be the only person leaving the alley alive.

No one knew much about Sam Hardless, the self-made Billionaire and no one in their right mind would want to get caught probing into his past.

Sam rushes out of the boardroom and gets into his car. When he reaches home, his young son and daughter rush out to meet him.

“Dad, says the young boy, “when will you be making us a Treehouse?”.

“I’ll make the Tree House for you both as soon as I return from my Conference in China.”

“But, Dad you said you would make us the Tree House, six months ago,” said Sam’s young daughter Sarah.

“I promise that I will make it as soon as I return this time,” says Sam, as he lifts both the children one in each arm.

He kisses his wife who is preparing a meal in the kitchen and goes into his study, as the wife and children sit in the kitchen, talking about the day the children had at school.

“Are you leaving immediately?” says Sam’s wife Helene.

“I have to darling, but I’ll be back in a week’s time. It is a very busy time now, with all my projects happening all over the country as well as in Japan and China.”

Sam kisses his wife and children and rushes out of the house.

Sam gets into his limousine.

“Jim, take me to the airport as fast as you can, I cannot be late,” says Sam to his chauffeur an elderly-looking man dressed in a grey suit.

As Sam Hardless passes by in the car heading for the airport, he sees a young man making a Tree House in his garden.

Sam turns to his driver and says, “Bob, remind me to contact that young man to make a Tree House for my children. They have been pestering me to make them one for the last few years now.”

“Yes, Sir,” says Bob, the Chauffeur, “I will contact him and tell him to meet you once you return from China.”

The next morning Sam Hardless arrives in China. In the airport, he is met by a young Chinese woman with a young boy. Sam lifts the young boy, who has a small model plane in his hand and he carries him.

Sam reaches into his pocket and takes out a packet of chocolates for the boy.

The young boy takes the chocolates.

Sam feels something in his pocket and puts his hand back in and pulls out a small plastic yellow arrow.

The young child sees the tiny yellow arrow and gets very excited, as he takes it in his hands. He kisses his father on his cheek.

Sam is puzzled by the toy arrow, but he shakes his head and continues on his way, carrying his suitcase.

The couple kiss and they drive away in a taxi.

Is Sam Hardless, the sinfully rich billionaire leading a double life?

It would seem that the man has two families one in Britain and one in China.

Will this cause some problems for Sam later in life, if both his families have to know the truth?

That is just a thought but time will tell.
