Monkey Business
November Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “3”
“Be careful out there, little one”
As we walked to the downtown market after checking into our hotel at Kasauli, a hill station in Himachal Pradesh, we were delighted to see monkeys everywhere. They were so friendly. Of course, that meant they were also happy to snatch stuff from our hands as they nimbly swung by — up the trees, across the walls, and settled down to watch the humans go by.
I was delighted to spot groups of monkeys and got many photos of them. The baby monkeys were the cutest!
These three looked like they were having a conversation, with mom and dad pouring advice and caution into the little one’s ears. Clearly, the little one couldn’t wait to go join the playgroup. And clearly, the parents would have felt much better if she hadn’t!
Thank you for the lovely November prompt “3” Mary Chang Story Writer!
Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles ❤ Did you smile today?
I love Medium and the wonderful writers I engage with. Sadly, the Medium Partner Program is not open to writers based in India. One of the reasons I write is to support underprivileged children. Would you consider buying me a cup of coffee? Thank you so much!
I thought Penny Grubb’s take on the prompt was brilliant!
