Minimalistic Living Is the Best That I Can Do for My Mother

Micro-steps that I take to preserve nature

Minimalistic living as my habit Just the required number of items fully utilizing for basic living

Preservation of water, with no excess usage Closing the tap while brushing Using the required water wherever necessary

Turning off the electrical appliance the switches, the light, the fan Minimum usage of consumable items Be it an aluminum foil or toilet roll

Instead of using disposable cutlery I prefer to use the home dishes wherever I can, I avoid plastics

Creatively using the discarded items Either for decorative or for utility purpose

I often wondered was it my frugality Because I have seen people living extravagantly I realized it was my respect for the products and things That was the reason they served me for years and sometimes decades

I don’t feel the need to buy anything Be it my clothes or shoes They will become new once I clean or iron them

No need for make up no need for any beauty product It made me save a ton

My skin rehydrate on natural substances Yoga and meditation plus the healthy living are simple yet powerful add-ons.

Do we really need endless lines of clothes? Do we need an uninterrupted supply of beauty products? Does the show-off of that latest handbag make me fashionable?

If yes, then I decline to be with those for whom living is no less than a ramp walk

Right now, I don’t have enough resources But one day, I will have a self-sustained off-grid house No matter if it is a small one But with enough greenery that surrounds

For now, we all have this one Blue planet to live Marred with the warming, ice melting, and sea level rising I am no one to say what others should do or not It is for themselves to seek what kind of environment are they leaving for their children?

Everything comes from Mother earth Why we take more than we need? why can’t we sit and enjoy the sunset even if it is in old but well-maintained tees and shorts

Excessive churning for insurmountable desires Concrete and marble for a grand house, Exquisite interiors and artworks Slaughtering animals, trees, excavating mother Earth For the insatiable hunger and greed

For what? Are not the basic need of any human is eat, shelter and clothes? But the pursuit of superiority over other humans will surely demolish the planet and the brotherhood.
