Midjourney Prompt for creating product advertising photographs

Hello and welcome to this story where I’m going to explain how Midjourney’s artificial intelligence can be used to create product advertisement images, perfect for those who run an online business and are looking for ideas to promote their products on the web in the best possible way.

Paradoxically, you can implement a kind of reverse process, i.e., creating a photograph of what you want to sell, something that doesn’t exist yet, and then actually make it following the guidelines shown in the advertising photo to achieve the same result.

With Midjourney, this is extremely easy to do, and you can have fun unleashing your creativity by customizing a prompt that must have certain characteristics to achieve excellent results.

Suppose we are wine producers and are looking for an original idea for an image that represents our production. This is the prompt I used:

“Product photography, wine bottle with vine branch , pastel tone backgorund, center composition, high resolution”

This prompt is extremely simple but contains fundamental elements that allow us to obtain the following result:

Let’s quickly analyze the prompt used.

Firstly, it starts with ‘Product Photography’, which tells Midjourney that we want to generate an image of a product.

Then we describe the product, I simply indicated a wine bottle with a grapevine branch, but of course, you can be much more detailed here, depending on what you want to achieve.

Then I added ‘pastel tone background’ to indicate that the background should be represented by pastel colors.

I also added ‘center composition’ to ensure that the composition was centered, and finally ‘high resolution’ to indicate that I needed a clear, high-resolution image, not an illustration or anything else.

At this point, I can either choose to create more or, if one of the four proposals is already good, upscale it and modify it with the right label using a photo-editing program, even Canva can work.

If it’s our intention to print it on paper or other media, it’s better to upscale it further, perhaps through a website like the one indicated in the following story.

Of course, your prompt doesn’t have to be identical to the one I used, but you can use it as a guide and play not only with the product to represent but also with the background tone, with the types of lighting to represent the product, and a thousand other variables that depend on your creativity.
