About me alphabetically — writing challenge accepted ;)
My dear Medium friends started a trend and Scott Ahlsmith challenged me to write my ABC’s too. Okay Scott, challenge accepted!
Absolutely is one of my favourite responses. Want to start something creative, fun and new? Absolutely is what I’ll say!
But, I’m also learning how to set better boundaries so I can be my best badass me.
Curiosity is one of my core values. I love getting to know what makes everyone tick.
Delightful is another favourite word that I don’t use often enough. Seeing a trend here yet?
Evolution — I am constantly stretching, growing and evolving myself. My personality is ever a work-in-progress, in the most delightful way ;)
F*ck It — I do swear from time to time. I love that it adds flavour and spice to any conversation.
Grounded – I’ve often been called grounded although I don’t always feel that way on the inside.
How-to’s are one of my favourite things to write. But I like to do it subtly, offering suggestions, not preaching or being a ‘know-it-all’.
Inspiration is the name of my game. I love finding little tidbits of wisdom that I can share with others. I’m even a top writer in Inspiration on Medium!
Just because I love to inspire, doesn’t mean I don’t flounder. I often have my own up’s and down’s in life as we all do.
Knowing is a beautiful thing. Especially cultivating your inner knowing — getting in touch with my intuition is a big part of my life.
Love is the answer. It’s truly what I believe and my hope is to help others connect more deeply to love too, in all its wonderful forms.
Motherhood is a big part of who I am. I love being a mama to my delightful 3-year-old girl, although it hasn’t always been easy!
No is an important word in my vocabulary. My whole life I’ve generally said yes that I’m learning no is just as powerful too.
Openness is my life philosophy. I like to be open to new perspectives, people, experiences and ways of viewing the world.
Positivity is one of my core values. It hasn’t always been easy to be positive during a pandemic but I’m trying my hardest.
Questions are crucial. What is life if we don’t seek to question everything? Find your own answers and what works for you.
Relationships are one of my favourite writing topics and an area I love to support women with as a coach.
Social Butterly? I wish! I’ve always admired my partner who is very social. Me? I prefer to chill out in the corner with a close friend.
Truth is fickle. There is what’s true for me and what’s true for you. I believe that truth can have layers and isn’t always black & white.
Unique. I pride myself on being a unique person and I know you are too. We’re all beautiful unique human beings having unique experiences.
Vulnerability is truly beautiful. I’m always honoured when others share their vulnerable stories and a piece of their heart.
Why? It’s a question that’s always running in the back of my mind. Find your ‘why’ and look for the inner ‘why’ of others.
Xtraordinary is the way I think of people. We’re all extraordinary in our own deeply special ways.
Youthful spirit is the way I hope to live my life. My partner exemplifies a youthful spirit and I aspire to do the same.
Zeal is a great way to be. Showcase your passion for life and work towards what really matters to you. That’s my everyday attempt :)
Well, now I feel alphabetically awesome. That was a lot harder of an exercise than I thought but I’m glad I did it!
