Last weekend DR Rawson - The Possibilist and I were fortunate to be on a podcast with the Story Warrior. You can see the Podcast/Interview below. I always enjoy my conversations with Gideon. He is down to earth, kind, supportive, and knows what he is talking about. If you are not familiar with his work I highly encourage you to check out his book. Gideon is an established author, writer, national and international speaker, and storyteller. He is one of the kindest people I encountered in my life.

I believe I met Gideon and Pamsy about 4 years ago. Gideon is the type of person that I can talk to for hours. This goes for his lovely wife and my friend Pamsy as well. They are both beautiful people. People who speak their heart and act kindly. During my road trip in November 2023, Debbee Aquila Maraglio-Lynn (PhD) and I were able to go and see Gideon and Pamsy in their home in Texas.

Seeing them reminded me how much I missed them since they had moved away from Oregon. We had a beautiful conversation and discussed future collaborations. Gideon gifted me his book The Science of Story Selling. How to win the hearts & minds of your prospects for profit and purpose. I truly enjoyed this book about writing, writing tips, and how to engage your audience in both writing and speaking. I loved all the examples Gideon provided on storytelling, how to use words and stories to create interest from the reader, and how to create a compelling story.

I love these lines from his book:

“I believe you and I can combine the science and the art of storytelling to create a bit of magic that no other master crafter out there is talking about right now. “ p. xxvii

In his book, The Science of Story Selling Gideon wrote this to me:

“Gabriella, Keep Writing, Keep Telling, Keep inspiring”.

I feel honored to know this amazing writer, author, podcaster, and national and international speaker whom I can call a friend. I hope you will have a chance to check out Gideon’s Story Warrior YouTube channel and his book.

While reading his book The Science of Story Selling I wrote a few comments to Gideon:

“Reading a cool book and yes to your question in it. I would love to tell stories and travel to do it. My dream job is to write, share stories, and build community.”

“Made it to part 2. Very great advice in your book. :) I am enjoying the read and recognizing what I am already doing and what I can do better.”

“One great book reading completed. A beautiful read Gideon.”

I am grateful for the wonderful conversations we got to have face to face and for the warm welcome, both Pamsy and Gideon provided for Debbee and me during our trip. I love the connection we have and the inspiration that sparks during our conversations.

Pamsy made us a wonderful breakfast spread including grapes, eggs, and a homemade puff puff. We were eating those puff puffs and grapes on our way to New Mexico.

Some people bring magic to this world. Gideon and Pamsy are included in the tribe of magic people. I am very grateful for their welcome and kind souls and all the support they provide for people in their lives and to the greater community. I am looking forward to creating more magic in the world together.

Thank you, Gideon and Pamsy for bringing the sparks of magic to this world.

Thank you for reading, and watching.
