Medusa Eyes
Haunting

On the foot overbridge over a pond One couple was holding each other in a heartfelt hold, a kiss went by, and probably some small talks followed, Envy, a bit of pain in my heart touched, reminded me of you, in fearful thrust.
We were together in a stormy journey of time, Attraction, lust but not so loved, We felt our distance; we didn’t cheer in joy, We shared, but did we care? We laughed, but not in joy and heartfelt tones. When I looked into your eyes Always a frozen fear played its motion, No lovely jitters danced, only some hatred and questions sparked, thought we believed in trust a thing remained absent within us, and your eyes ignited icy cold look without any reason or doubt, perhaps the other boy you were meeting that time could clasp you close, better than mine, and when we bolted to break our nest I saw the same medusa eyes cared for him.
I still feel your icy-cold eyes, which ignited to write my words with a relief that my nest is free from the Medusa of my dreams.
