Medium Writer Kills Husband, Blames Chekhov’s Gun
The suspect showed a clear motif
Saturday, 15 April 2023, Mediumtown. In the early morning hours today, the Medium Variance Authority (MVA) rushed to the residence of a top writer couple. Neighbours heard shots fired that foreshadowed a tragedy in the home of Ina Turner-Villain and Jeffery Turner.
“It was a gruesome and troubling sight,” said MVA investigator Medium M Medium about the crime scene’s mood, “Mr Turner was lying on the floor, dead. His wife was sitting in her armchair, a rifle resting on her lap, watching him.”
According to the MVA, Ms Turner-Villain, a top writer in “villainy”, “murder mystery”, and “literary devices”, confessed at the scene. Reportedly, Turner-Villain stated her three-act relationship had reached its conclusion. “There was no way around it since I had seen Chekhov’s gun on the wall the day we married.”
The Kraken News consulted JF Danskin, an expert on fiction writing, who explained that the famous writer Chekhov argued every detail in a story must have significance. Therefore, according to Chekhov, a gun must be fired in a story if introduced earlier.
Turner’s literary agent Hugh E Cut expressed his sorrow regarding Turner’s death, who he described as a dear friend and a money-making client. “Turner’s tragic books were real page-turners. It is dreadful and tragic that the hero’s journey of an established top writer in “tragic endings” ended so tragically.”
