In the movie, My Best Friend’s Wedding, “-Michael O’Neill: Kimmy says if you love someone you say it, you say it right then, out loud. Otherwise, the moment just… - Julianne Potter: Passes you by.

In the world we live today, what is news at this very moment is gone in a few seconds, and if you are a writer, there will be stories, as the movie says, passes you by.

I have so many stories I want to write. Some need research, and sometimes I abandon the story until I discovered something new about Medium Shortform.

When I heard her sang It’s Ok, I knew I have to write about her, she calls herself Nightbirde, and it wasn’t just the song. It was what she said when she got the golden buzzer on AGOT.

You can’t wait until life isn’t hard anymore before you decide to be happy — Nightbirde.

It felt she was talking to me, but I know very little about Nightbirde, who is Jane Marczewski in real life.

I did the next best thing, write a Medium Shortform.

You can’t wait until life isn’t hard anymore before you decide to be happy — Nightbirde. After my MOM passed away, I began to practice in my life to welcome life’s surprises, as most of the time, what happens when you let go of control and fear, Life gives you more, and it gives you more without asking anything back from you.

When Nightbirde got the Golden Buzzer at America’s Got Talent from Simon Cowell, it wasn’t what will happen next to her singing career that is on my mind.

All I want for Nightbirde is to be cured of her cancer.

And while she says, she is OK!

I pray for a miracle, but as the world gets to know Nightbirde or Jane Marczewski in real life, that alone is a miracle we all needed this year.

Follow her journey on her blog.

That was it — all 143 words.

Not much. Some of my Medium Shortform stories earn me one cent, but hey, every cent counts, and as MOM used to say, you can’t have a dollar without a penny. Besides, I have made peace with my one-cent articles.
