More and more, everyday, we read about smart Medium writers who are making a bundle of cash on Gumroad.

This ever so powerful e-commerce website has become extremely popular with online creatives.

Nowadays, if digital products and services is what you’re interested in selling, the place to be is on Gumroad.

This is true for all types of creatives, including content creators like us writers on Medium.

In fact, whether writers on Medium realize it or not, Medium and Gumroad are a match made in heaven.

Allow me to tell you why…

Smart writing advice about Medium and Gumroad

If you want some smart writing advice, you’ll pay close attention to what I’m about to say.

As regular writers on Medium, we have access to an audience that not every creator on Gumroad has.

On the Medium platform, we all get the chance to build a following in a more or less social environment; something that is not really the case on Gumroad.

That means that writers who have a following on Medium, can utilize their existing audience, when it comes to promoting their Gumroad products.

Personally, I think it makes absolute sense for us to find ways to take advantage of our existing presence on Medium.

One way to do that, is by Medium writers networking together, to promote one another on both sites, particularly through affiliate marketing.

Promoting one another’s products in this way can be mutually beneficial.

I invite Medium members on Gumroad to become affiliates for the products I have available there.

I’m more than willing to do the same for the products that other writers create and sell.

Earn money from products not your own

It’s super easy to join the Gumroad affiliate program, so you can earn money from products not your own.

Why not increase your chances of getting paid to work online, and getting paid to participate on Gumroad?

What do you have to do?

Just go to “Gumroad global affiliates dashboard” and paste any of my product page urls where it says: “Destination Page Url”.

This will generate a link for my product (or any product url you paste there). The link will contain your unique Gumroad affiliate link.

Once you decide to join the affiliate program and help promote other creators, you can start posting links into your stories, and be on your way to earning affiliate income.
