Mask and Vaccines are the Solutions, While Some Adults have become the Problem

How science tries to save lives in the midst of much violence and harassment while the many unvaccinated are dying by the numbers

While people do have choices to take or not take the vaccine but they do not have the choice of catching it because COVID-19 or the Delta virus does not care just looking for an unvaccinated vehicle while that vehicle becomes a virus incubator infecting all others upon contact.

Parents are fighting against their kids, (K thru 6), being required to wear masks. Are they choosing between life or death for their kids? What happens too often many unvaccinated people and/or children who get the virus and suffers, then the parent fights and screams to save the child’s life with some miraculous cure as the patient fights for their life or loses it.

Officials have watched in horror horrified as protesters protested outside their private residences, yelling with bullhorns and beamed strobe lights into their building to harass them over vaccine or mask requirements.

One parent became so bold in a Northern California elementary school as she barged in and punched a teacher in the face over mask rules. Another parent in a Texas school ripped a mask off a teacher’s face during a “Meet the Teacher” event. Another time a hospital leader was accosted in the parking garage by a man who handed him papers accusing him of “crimes against humanity.”

School board members, county commissioners, doctors, and local leaders are regularly accosted and attacked in various manners at meetings, and in the public with angry taunts comparing them to the Taliban, Nazis, Marxists, and leaders of Japanese internment camps.

Another situation occurred when a country commissioner in Kansas was berated at a meeting where masks were mandated indoors for unvaccinated children.

Other teachers have been attacked, a father became irate when he saw his daughter wearing a mask leaving school while teachers in a lounge were unmasked. In this case, vaccinated staff was allowed to take off their masks if students weren’t present. This father recanted but return later to speak with the principal. A concerned male teacher went to the principal’s office. An argument ensued and the father struck the teacher leaving lacerations and bruises on his face and a knot on the back of his head. This same teacher and others are the ones teaching his kids. Where is his logic? Perhaps this father’s child or children should return to online classes. That will solve the mask problem for him and the likes of him.

Some teachers have had to transfer their students out of schools where they teach for fear of their harm as they were compelled to speak out. In this particular case, these teachers were followed by anti-maskers out of the building after the meeting, calling them names and getting right in their faces.

After Hawaii announced a mask mandate, to show proof of vaccination or be tested weekly, 50 to 100 unmasked vaccine opponents protested nightly outside in a downtown area where the Lt. Gov lived with his family. Along with the protesting with bullhorns and strobe lights, fliers were distributed with his photo and the words “Jew” and “fraud” and were plastered around the neighborhood. As soon as they were mounted, they were removed and given over to the state attorney general’s office.

Even in Kansas, commissioners in Douglas County have been confronted by an angry mob, mostly unmasked, before mandating mask wearing for 2-to 12 years olds. Again, they were subjected to much derogatory name calling.

Even in the face of new surges from COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations, these parents are yet fighting against masks for their children. In the midst of the country averaging nearly 1,000 coronavirus deaths a day.

These atrocities are occurring throughout the country and taking a progressively scary and violent turn causing educators, medical professionals, and public figures to guard their statements when sharing facts and/or opinions.

All this unwarranted behavior has shaken the school communities around the country and has them on edge looking over their shoulders as they try to do their jobs for the safety of all the kids and faculty.

In conclusion, somehow these masks and vaccinations protesters seem to feel they have a right to attack and subject others to mental cruelty as they seek to put others at harm championing their own agenda is an atrocity to humanity. White privilege is running amok. Do unto others as you would have them to do unto you!
