Managing Our Weight as We Grow Older
How can you cope with reduced metabolism?

Metabolism is the process by which our bodies convert food into energy. It is a well-known fact that mentalism slows as we age. As a result, while eating 2500 calories at age 20 may not affect you, eating the same amount at age 40 may cause you to gain weight.
How should we approach this subject? We must be mindful of what we eat daily. The following habits may help:
1. Eat at a slower pace
2. Consume food in smaller portions
3. Consume more plain water
Exercise is important, but watching what we eat will go a long way toward helping us maintain a healthy weight.
