Make Your Own Spice Mix
Mexican seasoning that makes everything taste great.

Spices make all the difference.
When I first started learning about Mexican food, my go-to was Sazon. It’s a prepackaged seasoning mix that gives almost everything a delicious depth of flavor.
One of my favorite ways to use Sazon is on slow-steamed thin-sliced potatoes. I first had this at my sister-in-law’s house — who makes everything taste amazing.
But when I went natural, I did a pantry revamp and tossed most prepackaged foods. Sazon has MSG and additives, which meant it was out for me.
So, I made my own version.
