Make a Statement

What do you stand for, and how will you serve?

I raise my head to the skies above To the wishes, dreams, and pleas I stand firm upon the dirt of this Earth Consciously present of principles and pains I assert my boundaries when you don’t serve Voicing my emotions to free my mind I believe in me and can say “no” to you Following what is right will not a battle make I do declare!

I look beside me within a step and down the road To the neighbors and strangers side by side I march hand in hand for matters to survive Compassionately respecting views and choice I commit with courage and speak through fear Asserting and defending while we hold the line I believe in you; love expressing without judgment Doing no harm, our words are raised in healing I do declare!
