The thing is that my history with Medium has not been one of romance. I had started there many years ago, all about sharing my thoughts with the world.
Life caught up, though, and I lost my rhythm. I stopped posting, and my connection with my followers began to fade away. It was like beginning from zero when I finally returned.
In the first weeks, my stories were getting very low numbers. I was a bit disappointed by this and continued posting regularly all through September in an attempt to see if things improved.
Could I really rebuild the things that I abandoned?

It still feels unbelievable that once I was consistent on Medium in September, my follower count increased by 180 on Medium.
Just 1 short of 1k followers on my profile. Waiting for my 1000th follower, who would that be.
I got myself added into lot many publications like Write A Catalyst, Stackademic, Word Garden, The Startup, AI in Plain English and many more wherein I started posting regularly.
Voila! I’m finally seeing the numbers coming in…!!
Bagged $100 from a single story within 15 days
For me, those stats are a huge motivation boost, not to mention the added incentive of earning some money along the way.
I started to see an increased follower count in my publication as well named “.Net Programming”
and the motivation was enough for me to start two new publications along with my friend The AI Guy

Medium is a great, opportunity-rich community. Followers will come, but the words we select and stories we share are the true difference-makers. So don’t quit. Every story has worth — especially when it’s lived.
