Editor’s Pick, Love, Writers
Love To Me Is Friday, And Editor’s Pick On What Is Love To You!
Happy Friday, readers, and writers! I want everyone to get excited because not only is the weekend before us, but our clocks go forward in a couple of days. Yep, Spring is around the corner, so come on, everybody, let’s get into the spirit! Step outside. Take a walk, even do a little happy dance. Whatever you decide, be sure to upgrade the mood reflecting the soon-to-be days of fairer weather, sunshine, and flowers!
Currently, the pace is holding steady with the incoming submissions, and I want to express my gratitude. What is love to you has great personal value, and I am blessed to be here as your editor. Here, on Robert Ralph’s publication dedicated to love, our most incredible emotion, writers share their deepest emotions reflected in articles, short stories, and the influential art of poetry. I support Robert’s vision and aim to not only withhold the standard but to spread the word by uplifting as many of our creators as I am able.
Today, I am applauding our poets as this week’s Editor’s Pick includes two beautiful poems.
Sieran’s poem is a beauty in its entirety. Personally relatable, and I imagine it will resonate with many a reader. The poetics display vivid imagery in a dark place called the Misty Mountains. This piece finds a permanent home on my reading list with points of reference to The Lord of the Rings. So please, read Sieran’s poem showing support!
Ali poetically wears her heart on her sleeve in this compelling piece. An inspiration for all and an important reminder that love is not limited to a select few. Whether sick or healthy, rich or poor, whatever one’s background, love is for everyone. Please show Ali support by reading her beautiful poem. Here is a stunning line from her piece. 👇
“You are the cool drops of water, bringing my dead flower back to life.”
