Love Series

Haikus

This is a love series of 12 Haikus unfolding how people meet, lust, fall in love, and how with each passing day, the love just keeps getting purer.

How it starts

Well, all it took was Just a random text from a “familiar” stranger.

From strangers to?

From one random text to a thousand more, heartbeat racing — what’s the cure?

And we meet

You lose your senses Butterflies keep fluttering Met for the first time.

Have we met before?

Felt like we had met Before the start of the time Clearly on cloud nine!

Are we there yet?

That one meeting led to planning for another So are we dating?

I think we are…

Days pass, time just flies Things remind you of them now Songs, cafes, and blue skies.

Firsts

Now you start to care Think it’s getting real; did we Just have our first fight?

Reality check

You think as you bid your honeymoon phase goodbye Will your “love” now die?

Is it real?

From blush to now bliss Butterflies to forehead kiss Seems like it is real?

Dates

Welcome to “we” life Grocery dates after work Gives you much delight

Did we know each other?

Guess you always knew each other, now you know why they seemed “familiar”?

One

You ache, they feel pain Yet you are not attached, for You have now grown one.

Ending the series with a simple poem.

Love is unique Love is hard to describe Love can mean waiting or even just a pillow fight.

Love can be the comfort of friendship Or the beat of your heart when it skips Love is forgiving Love is just giving.

Love is what you want it to be Love is within you and in Everything you see Love is you and Love is me.
