The Eruption of My Heart

A poem on heartbreak

The core keeps getting hotter Relentless roaring inside Molten, broken pieces of rocks Pushing to flare up to the surface.

As the rumbling gets fiercer Trapped gases get wilder Grumbling with rage, the surface explodes Through the vents that were left exposed.

Helpless, nature beholds Even if there was a shield around There was no way to get a hold Onto those blaring sounds.

As the heat breaks through the pours It now cannot swizzle the roars The agonizing flame had to blew Because The only way out is through.

The gushing rage blazes those around But as the eruption settles by, It becomes robust, it elevates from the ground Rising so high, up to the sky.
