Love | Prompt Times 2
Books prompts around love

Reading can spark many feelings in us – anguish, anxiousness, woe. It can also ignite the warmth of excitement, happiness, and love. Think hard on the books you’ve read over the course of your life, let your creative juices flow, and attempt these book prompts.
This week’s book prompts
The prompts I’ve chosen for this week revolves around love, or at least, the idea of it. Love comes in many forms, tropes, and parts; thus, I would love to see what you can come up with. Post your draft under Coffee Times, and remember to tag #Bookprompt, so everyone can also find inspiration in each other's works.
A book that made you want a relationship
I’m sure we have all read a book with a couple inside that made us want the same things – cute banter, someone whom you can speak about anything with, a fairytale happy ending. Write about the book that made you feel that way!
A book that reminded you of a special person in your life
Have you ever read about a book where one of its characters just reminded you of a particular someone? The person you’re thinking of doesn’t have to be someone you’re in a romantic relationship with – it could be a friend, your mom, or even your cousin. Write about it!
A book – or books – you love
I’m talking about a book you genuinely love – not like, adore, but love. A book that stayed inside your head for days, months, or years after reading it; a book you deeply resonated with; a book that makes you feel something just by thinking about it. Write about a book – or books – you love.
Don’t be discouraged
If you’re not an avid reader, or just not a reader at all, don’t be discouraged! Prompt Times aims to encourage readers to read more, and non-readers to read. We don’t mind if you hadn’t read five hundred books or you haven’t touched one in five years – you're still a reader simply by reading.
Last week was the first launch of Prompt Times, and though we haven’t received enough to make a separate article on the submissions, I would still like to give the spotlight to Gabriella Korosi and her beautiful piece:
My Ultimate Favorite Comfort Book.
He brings out the joy of reading. – Gabriella Korosi
If you don’t know how to respond to a book prompt, or a prompt in general, go to the tag #Bookprompt to get a gist of it! Though, there isn’t a strict criterion we abide by – these prompts are for however you want to express your feelings! Poems, fanfiction, reviews – the more creative you are, the better!
Last week’s prompts and guidelines
I’m looking forward to seeing more participants this week! If you want to be featured in the next Prompt Times, make sure to respond to the prompts above and publish it under Coffee Times with the tag Bookprompt!
If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
