Love in a Mist (Water-soluble Pencil Sketch)

July Weeds and Wildflowers Prompt

In response to a challenge by Dennett in Weeds and Wildflowers.

For July’s prompt, we have been challenged to sketch, firstly, the photo at the top of the prompt page and, secondly, sketches of other photos.

I chose to use one of my own photos for the sketch above. I used water-soluble pencils as I like to smooth out the texture in the petals and produce a more painted finish. I got a bit carried away with the details of the petals!
