Looking to the Year Ahead — The Shortform Sprint — Day 1

Each day, we’ve been given should be counted as a blessing.

As I write this, there are 315 days left this year. 50 have passed already, I am thankful to have lived each one so far.

But what will I do with the ones I have left?

I always set a word to focus upon.

One year it was ACTION that was quite a year.

This year was going to be SELF-CARE but now it has become HOPE.

Hope to spend time with family, across the world who are all alone.

Hope the world will become kinder again.

Hope to give hugs spontaneously.

Hope to follow my writing passion.

Hope that next year my focus will be on self-care.
