Longing for Spring, a New Slate
And leaving winter’s problems behind

To let go of the mental clutter that your problems tend to generate, list all your worries on a piece of paper. If you do so, they will no longer be able to fester in your mind and drain your valuable energy.
— Robin Sharma
Thankfully, I have no major problems — nothing critical anyway. There are a few minor ones, but I can choose to either control or ignore them; nothing that time and space can’t handle.
Recent mistakes have led to minor issues, and without intervention, my mind spirals out of control — overthinking. Disliking myself at times.
I detach, disconnect, and avoid certain individuals to regain control. So far, it’s working. It always does.
It helps to write down half a dozen things which are worrying me. Two of them, say, disappear; about two, nothing can be done, so it’s no use, worrying; and two perhaps can be settled.
— Bruce Lee and Winston Churchill
I consume more to create while criticizing and comparing less. I’m human, always curious and wanting more. In the space between life and death, I want only what matters — love.
I want to stalk and pursue my calling, absorb everything around me, soaking up every ounce of life. Even in moments of stillness, when boredom becomes my canvas, it’s my fuel for creativity and my sweet escape.
Spring is when I turn that boredom into new beginnings, into new creations. It’s when I feel the sun reviving me from the coldness and careless decisions of winter.
I have discovered that while our minds can be our best friends, they can also be our worst enemies. If you keep thinking about your problems, pretty soon you will find that you think about little else. The mind is a strange creature in this regard: the things you wanted to remember it forgets, but all those things you wanted to forget, it remembers.
— Robin Sharma
I long for spring to start over as I release winter’s grip; my body craves for the sweet hug of its warmth and renewal. Something exciting is on the horizon— a transformation awaits me.
A fresh, clean page. I’m ready for it.
