Logic Lens™ Analysis Book Series #2: The Distortion Dossier

“The Distortion Dossier: Inside Hitler’s Mind and Messages” by Tiffany Barraco™

Adolf Hitler 1939 // Kroll Opera House // Tiffany Barraco™

I am excited to share the release of my first Logic Lens™ book, which hopefully will be released in 2024.

This project aims to discuss a profound exploration of mental distortions of historical and influential leaders throughout history based on their words, their thought processing, and their influence on the world at that time.

Let me take you on a journey through the unique background that led me to this endeavor.

Over the course of my life, I have faced ongoing challenges in comprehending people, a struggle that was further complicated by undiagnosed brain damage sitting silently affecting crucial aspects of my daily life, perceptions, and my grasp of the world around me.

Coming from a background of severe long-term traumas, I felt lost about how to begin addressing my challenges.

Day-to-day tasks like identifying faces and understanding language proved to be major hurdles for me, but I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want loved ones to worry about me. When I finally reached out for support and shared my difficulties, I faced disbelief.

Some professionals attributed my struggle with maintaining eye contact, a common trait linked to my Autism, to deceitfulness, even though that wasn’t the case.

This meant I was not just facing the challenges themselves but also grappling with the stigmas attached to my neurological struggles.

It left me feeling unheard, unseen, and unloved.

Not many were aware of my struggles because I had been discouraged from speaking up and advocating for myself by a history rife with various forms of abuse.

Growing up, my Nonno, a Vietnam veteran who suffered his entire life from Agent Orange after being exposed to it, often instilled the belief of “life is hard, you need to learn to just get over it,” which led to harmful emotional and vocal suppression.

It was unfortunate that whenever I attempted to voice my concerns, they were not given the serious attention they deserved.

Seeking suitable support felt like a relentless struggle against my own mind, which is essentially me. Thus, in 2013, I embarked on a path of self-discovery and healing independently.

After undergoing several tests, I received a diagnosis as a woman on the Autism spectrum.

Despite these challenges, I found solace in coping mechanisms such as “faking it until you make it,” a strategy that can be surprisingly harmful, and in observing situations until they became clear to me.

With time, this method became more taxing, yet the notion of there being an issue with my brain never crossed my mind.

During my leisure time at home, I started researching my recent diagnosis. I experienced a profound sense of relief as years of pain seemed to dissipate upon finding validation through a formal disorder description.

This contrasted with the conflicting theories and opinions of others that often left me feeling emotionally shattered and bewildered.

Starting then, I began to let go of the indoctrination from my childhood, disregarding unfounded opinions of others, addressing my trauma for healing, and re-learning my deep and analytical interests.

Everything took a drastic turn in 2015 when the effects of my brain damage worsened, sending my reality into a tailspin.

Finding it hard to understand the situation, I not only encountered the constraints imposed by my condition but also endured extreme judgment from those in my vicinity during a period that would later be labeled as one of the most dangerous “movements” against women in gaming.

It was a lonely and challenging path, but one that eventually led me to seek help from professionals and embark on a journey of even more self-discovery and healing.

During my journey of recovery and collaboration with professionals, I discovered a renewed interest in mental distortions; however, I found myself unable to retain the information I was studying, without understanding the reason why.

Subsequently, after a substantial amount of testing, this difficulty was diagnosed with “Dissociative Amnesia.”

It was the most bizarre roller coaster ride I’ve ever been on...that I can remember, at least.

The journey of re-discovering forgotten knowledge through detailed notes, journal entries, screenshots, transcripts, and numerous prestigious awards I had won ultimately shed light on my diagnosis of Dissociative Identity Disorder, which led me to understand another issue I was having called “fugue states.”

Professionals with a deep understanding of trauma and brains led me on an unforgettable and profound path to enlightenment.

With dedicated efforts towards restoring my brain’s health and casting off the shadows of extreme, long-term physical and psychological abuse from my “family” (which I talk about in my other series), I began to witness tangible improvements in my cognitive abilities and emotional well-being.

This transformative phase sparked an interest in history and societal behaviors, specifically in exploring the recurring emergence of ruthless dictators like Adolf Hitler, arguably even figures like Donald Trump, and the psychological motivations behind tragic events such as World War II.

Determined to unravel the enigma of Hitler’s cognitive distortions, I meticulously combed through his speeches from the 1920s to the 1940s.

“Could we prevent WWIII by understanding the thought process that leads us there?”—One of my notes from my journey.

The upcoming book meticulously catalogs and analyzes these distortions in chronological and alphabetical order, offering educational insights into their nature, impact, and historical context.

By connecting Hitler’s words to the atrocities of war, propaganda, and societal impact, the book series aims to impart a deeper understanding of the dangers posed by unchecked distortions.

Through rich narratives, historical analysis, and poignant visuals, readers will confront the devastating consequences of distorted ideologies and the imperative of vigilance against their insidious grip on society.

As I labor over this compelling project, I am driven by a profound desire to shed light on the dark recesses of history and offer a cautionary tale for generations to come. Through understanding, awareness, and action, we can strive to prevent the recurrence of past tragedies and forge a path towards a more enlightened future.
