Delicious Sweet and Tangy Meatballs
In the past, still love it today recipe #4
In my search for 3–4 ingredient dishes, I remembered a family favorite. I used Trader Joe’s “Party size mini meatballs”. They are fully cooked and come frozen. Of course, you can make your own. Trust Grammy Judy, the kids, and others will love them with an orzo, pasta, or mashed potatoes, on the side. Great for parties as well. I think you are going to enjoy them. Judy
Ingredients
- Trader Joe’s party-size frozen mini meatballs, or your own
- 20 oz grape jelly, or your favorite jelly
- 12 oz chili sauce ( I bought it from Amazon)
Method
Heat jelly and chili sauce in a pot. I used a small sturdy pot, and stirred till combined.
Add meatballs on a low heat for 1 hour. I wanted the meatballs to soak in the delicious sauce. That is all it takes my friends. Serve hot, or serve as a cocktail dish.
