Listen When She Speaks To You
# 13 In a perfect world — should I divorce? ♂

It is not easy to be a man. Was never meant to be!
If you are a man in a relationship,
if you want to have a smooth relationship with your woman,
if you want things to go well in the daily life,
if you want things to go well when things happen,
then …
there are a few simple rules you should keep in mind:
Listen when she speaks to you.
Don’t always expect her to listen when you speak.
Listen very carefully when she says she’s got something to tell you.
When she looks very serious don’t always think it’s bad news for you.
Say Yes! when she says the house needs cleaning.
Answer Yes! when she says you need to run the vacuum cleaner once more.
Don’t say No, not even if you disagree.
When she repeats the house needs cleaning don’t say No!
Don’t ever say no.
Eliminate the word No! from your vocabulary.
Answer Yes! when she says the house needs to be painted.
If you disagree when she says the house needs to be painted, just look quickly at her. Don’t go into a discussion about it. Maybe she will interpret your non verbal reaction as a consent.
Stand together with her and consider the front of the house. Tell her that you can see that the paint is worn out.
Smile and answer yes when she says that there is an effort to do in the garden.
Answer Yes! if she says the dishwasher needs to be emptied.
Say yes when she says your name and you can hear a hidden frustration in her voice.
Say Yes, Darling? when she says your name and there is an ocean of irritation in her voice.
Understand your woman.
Try to always understand your woman.
Never let your woman feel you don’t see her.
Don’t raise your voice.
Don’t speak out loudly to her even if she does to you.
Try to capture the hidden pain in her voice.
After a disagreement always start a new approach with something inoffensive or benign.
Never forget to give her hugs.
Remember to kiss her cheek when she goes out of the door.
Don’t feel offended if she rejects you tentative hugs.
Try to caress her at least on a weekly basis.
If she is positive, caress her every single day.
If she rejects you, don’t feel offended. It’s not personal
If she doesn’t seem to like being caressed any longer, don’t become desperate.
Smile to her. Say I love you when it’s appropriate.
Say you love her even if you don’t feel like it in that particular moment or situation.
When you after a conflict are feeling down, never think I hate her!
Say to yourself that it is allowed to be sad.
Say to yourself that it is permitted to feel hurt.
Say to yourself that if she says ugly things, it is because she doesn’t feel good. Understand that it’s because she’s sad or a little depressed.
Remember that it is human and completely normal to feel sad.
Remember that it is human and completely normal to have a disagreement.
Remember that it is human and even normal to have a conflict.
Think that it is normal to feel down.
Think positive thoughts when you look at her!
Remember that she loved you then, years ago.
Remember that you told her you loved her.
That’s why you are a couple now.
