Lightning Crashes
Small Pile of Ashes

Chaos meets serenity Lightning strikes vehemently
Land of the lost I can’t look back at any cost
Sucked back into the void of despair Where not being present Meant being there
Living among the land of the dead I met some eerie people who said:
“Kira, You really are a mess Don’t be envious What you have we don’t possess Died alone of loneliness You are not hopeless Get back in your beautiful dress You don’t belong here Stolen under duress”
Okay I guess
My eyes open Upon my nakedness
Why is it so hard to breathe Use the ace I slipped under my sleeve I’m officially on permanent leave
I feel stuck I ran out of happy pills All out of luck Arrested for misconduct
Once again behind bars Watching rockets fly to Mars All this talk of electric cars
I didn’t want to be afflicted Never asked to be addicted
Somewhere between the shift of the upside down I got the chance to turn my life around
I laugh and smile I forget about the evil of this world for awhile
You would be astonished at the wisdom I received It’s quite simple You don’t need to see to believe
One act of kindness Opens the heart’s bliss
A ripple in design Reaches another We become the beacon of light To each other
Thank you for reading. I hope you enjoyed. God bless you. Forever Grateful.
