Life Is Already Hard, We Don’t Have To Make It Harder

Life is hard, things don’t always go our way, some people are just mean. With all this going on why do we need to make our lives any harder?

I have some beliefs that are deep within me. Beliefs about who I am and my place in the world. These beliefs keep me trapped in a small little bubble.

How many times per day do you stop yourself from doing something you want to do because you think you can’t or shouldn’t?

For me, the answer is a lot.

I look around me and see all the things I don’t have and the dreams I haven’t accomplished and I feel like a loser. I beat myself up and makeup reasons why I deserve the worst in life.

You are your own best ally. The way we think about ourselves determines how we feel about ourselves. When we allow things we see and hear to affect the way we think we allow those things to control us.

The world is big and abundant, it’s our thoughts that create limitations. It’s easy to get caught up in what we see every day. If it’s all we see that’s our reality. However, if what we see and experience is the only thing there is, then nothing new would ever happen.

Progress and innovation come from people who are willing to ignore the perceived reality around them and embrace the unknown. Instead of just accepting life as it’s given to them they create their own life.

How do we ignore what we see and create a life we want?

By understanding the reality we experience is created in our heads. Again there are plenty of mean people who do bad things, we can’t control that. What we do have control over is what we think about and what we do.

Allowing the perceived reality around us to become our reality limits our lives. The more we accept what is, the smaller our lives become.

When we know who we are, and move with confidence, everything we see and experience will change.

I’m not saying it will be easy, I struggle with it every day. But I refuse to allow my scared little thoughts the make me into a scared little man.

I’m ready to take my life back, are you?
