Life and Love -They Come in Waves

My Very Strong Opinion…

I have come to believe that life and love come in waves.

We ride them, are refreshed, overwhelmed, and drown in them.

The mesmerizing depth and breath of expansive space are intense.

The ocean.

It is a mirror of our souls.

It is deep, cold, mysterious -yet inviting.

We reach. We soar. We crash.

As our ancestors have done before us- we gaze to the sun, the stars, the planets for direction. No one knows where to go- and it is okay.

We look to the other surfers in the ocean.

The saltwater scratches and burns our spirits but it offers relief from the scorch of human hate. A cool respite from our own humanity.

Man against man. Man supporting Man.

Let this small scribe be a life preserver -

preserving the thought that although humanity is tough-

We are not alone.

This self-expression of in-depth raw life/emotion enhances our confidence.

We can choose to surf on the wave and not crumble below it.

Why- you ask? I think it is because it is all so universal…all of it.

So, we are here to be strong when others are weak.

In our moments of weakness, we can only hope that others will provide a lifeline of strength for us. In spirit and absolutely in deep truth.

Be wary of the sharks - they are everywhere-

In mind, in thought, in person.

There is a beach, however, in close proximity.

Catch the wave inward.

Surfers look to those on the wave.

It is a wild ride for sure.
