LEAVING HOME

left home to find love

find it and never let go

wanderlust drives me

.

through many seasons

in search of love and then some

to feel safe again

to feel wanted and embraced

to enjoy intimacy

.

looking back I found

I left behind what I seek

home is where love is

A Hataciku poem consists of 65 syllables written without punctuation in 3 stanzas as 11 lines of phrase arranged in the pattern sequence of 5–7–5–5–7–5–7–7–5–7–5 = 65 syllables. Invented by the Author.
