POETRY
Leap of Faith
A poem of love
The wind laughs at me with condescending accusations though I pity its ignorance. It will never experience such torrential damage nor will it feel exhilaration.
Hypocritical jabs from the gaping canyon below cannot discourage my resolve. You watch me from the other side, begging me not to step into the hopeless abyss.
No decision remains unanswered for behind is dusty storms and forward is oblivion. I will fall into the depths with only one hope to live. That you will jump too.
