Law of Attraction Exercises: How to Crystalize Your Desire & Truly Believe You Can Receive It

Instructions, Screenshots, & Links Included

In my other article, I wrote about how to manifest anything you want in 6 steps. Steps 1 and 2 were “Define your desire” & “Confirm it’s in the sweet spot.”

Below are two take-home exercises I used to complete these steps. You will find instructions and personal examples. I hope this article inspires and empowers you to try them out for yourself.

Take-Home Exercise #1: The “Sweet Spot” Exercise

This take-home exercise was designed to help you identify your current desires, then narrow you down to one “sweet spot” desire that you want really really bad, AND you genuinely believe you can have in your life.

Instructions

  1. Grab a sheet of paper and create three columns—one for your desires, one to rank your desires, and one to rank your belief.
  2. In the first column, write down everything you desire right now. All the things that you’ve ever wanted. Don’t judge yourself here; commit and see what comes up for you. Remember the question: “What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?”
  3. In the second column, rank each desire on a scale of 1–10 for the level of desire for it. One is you want it, but it’s not that important right now, and ten is practically obsessed with it, and it’s all you can think about.
  4. In the third column, rank each desire on a scale of 1–10 for the level of belief that you can manifest it in the next 30–90 days. Listen to yourself, and don’t beat yourself up for the number. If it’s low, then it’s low. That’s okay. It doesn’t mean it will always stay that low.
  5. Review the list. If you have a desire with a low belief score, then you don’t want to focus on that desire right now. At its current score, you’re more likely to focus on the lack of it or doubt your abilities to receive it, which will ultimately tell the universe to push it away from you right now.
  6. Review your list and find the desire with the highest “sweet spot” score: a high level of desire AND a high level of belief — You’ll know to focus on this one because it already makes you feel good when you think about it.

Take-Home Exercise #2: Joe Dispenza’s Intentions & Elevated Emotions Exercise

If you don’t know who Joe Dispenza is, I wrote another article on his work and how he helps people demystify the mystical and empowers people to harness the power of manifestation in a simple yet factual way.

This exercise aims to take your “sweet spot” desire and expand on it, so you’re even more hyped about it when you think about it.

Instructions:

  1. Start with identifying your desire. (This is an excellent time to use the “Sweet Spot” desire that you hopefully chose in Take-Home Exercise #1)
  2. Assign a capital letter to your desire and then write that letter down on a piece of paper. (Thinking of the letter the next time you meditate/visualize.)
  3. Draw two squiggly circular lines around the letter to signify the vibrational frequency you need within you to match that desire.
  4. On the right side of the paper, add clear intentions to define the desire in your mind (see the above screenshot for examples). Make sure to leave out the how and the when.
  5. Then on the other side of the paper, write down the elevated emotions you expect to feel when that desire happens in your life. (If you don’t know which emotion you’ll feel, try gratitude or appreciation. Those are normal positive emotional states we usually feel after receiving something.)

Personal example: I desire to manifest $7,000 unexpectedly and get paid to do what I love. Every time I think of that, I feel excited, grateful, abundant, and humbled.

Again, I don’t know when or how my desire will manifest, but I’m incredibly ecstatic to see how the universe will bring it into my life at the perfect time and in an ideal way because I want it really bad, and I believe I can get it.
