A Photo Love Story In Black And White

I have been living in Australia for the last 3.5 years, 2 of which I lived in Tasmania. The most southern state of Australia captivated me with its pure beauty, remoteness and ruggedness.

After two years the pandemic struck and I left this wonderful place to search for new adventures on the mainland. Fears of getting stuck on the island with no option to fly home if I would have needed to, made me venture to Northern NSW.

Circumstances let me settle down here for now but not one day goes by when I don’t miss Tassie. Its rough, unpredictable weather having heatwaves and snowstorms within 2 days in summer, the beauty of people and landscapes I have rarely experienced anywhere else makes it so special to me.

For me, it is to this day the most beautiful place in Australia.

This is a photo essay to showcase the beauty of Tassie. I hope you enjoy it.
