Labyrinth Of False Apertures
A Poem About The Forces That Challenge Us
Emptied skies, burrowed lies Where do you hide your diamonds on high For on my plane, in this manmade chasm There is a labyrinth, stoned iconoclasm
Bouldered room, crystal shadow on dead soil A growl of creature speckled in pride and turmoil I look at its shadowy figure on the floor I construct anew and run once more
This tigress beholds me on the edge of egress As I climb the walls, this maze in duress It follows as I grow cantankerous A guardian, a guide, intentions spurious
Inner tigress behind closed doors Finds me in my labyrinth of false apertures Incessant reminder, the courage of cowards Finding its path as I run untoward
Tigress of bold colors, conscious yet knowing Chasing its flower, conscious yet unknowing I cheat as I get up on life’s telling tablets As it awaits my return, in the maze of life’s progress
A moon that guides me, willed or not Patient and waiting as it shines forth A light for the dark of my hollowed soul A blight upon shadow to guide this fool
A schism in spectral lights confrontation The shadow foils with fallacious elation The tigress strays near, it gives a clue When nothing remains, it has not abandoned you
Ferocious tigress in chasing light, hear its growls Of inner fires, wear your light of souls cowl You must go alone yet guidance given In reminders form, the pathways beacon
“Go create the sun and diamonds above From the chaos within, order life's love”
