Kristin Hunted at Night

It was then that she felt most alive…

This drabble (100-word story) is a response to Crush Hundo Edition’s word prompt. Today’s word is NIGHT.

It was at night that Kristin felt most alive. She hadn’t been alive, not in the traditional sense, for hundreds of years. But her nighttime hunts brought on the feeling of new possibility.

She could chose anyone she wanted, and tonight it was a handsome man named Ted. She met him in a club in East London. The clubs there were always packed, and you could blend in easily. No one ever remembered her.

They danced for hours before Kristin led him back to her apartment. And then she fed on him. Afterwards she dumped his body in the alleyway.

This 8th drabble is written as part of the “100 Story Challenge” by @Zane Dickens.
