Kintsugi The Saviour
The broken piece becomes whole again
The beautiful blue vase, The finest of its kind, The pride of my living room, Flown directly from Tokyo.
A massive earthquake, The doors shattered, There were a lot of sounds, Things fell on the ground.
The vase fell from the sideboard, It broke into many small pieces, Luckily, Kintsugi was the saviour, The thing of beauty was repaired.
Kintsugi brings value to art objects, Do not throw away the old things, They are priceless and full of love, Appreciate beauty use Kintsugi.
I had heard of kintsugi because a Japanese citizen had introduced me to it. I had never used it and this was the first time that it was applied. The Japanese feel that you should not throw away things. You should appreciate things for their beauty. He restored the vase to its original look.

Thanks to Somsubhra Banerjee, Priyanka Srivastava Elisabeth Khan and Rahul Sharma, for this prompt on ‘Kintsugi ’ on Day Six of the poetry challenge
