Kindness — The Littlest, But Most Contagious Thing
Day 8 poetry prompt

you may think the world is hoary you may guess it's soon collapsing you may insist it isn't worth living yet one cold soul can be consoled
you may say to yourself, everyone here is so cruel, it’s a hopeless case you may presume wickedness rules this freaking unfair world
all I know is, you’re unto hard times you are fighting the greatest battles believe out of nothin’, miracle unfolds you and I will make this place better
for there’s no such thing as a tiny bit of kindness old, coming deeply from you topped with a chip of love from me, too builds umpty ripple, sweeps the world over
“Don’t belittle yourself for thinking you don’t have the power to change the world. The greatest and most unforgettable thing you can do costs nothing. Yet just the tiniest bit of it sprinkled to any one you meet is much more contagious than the most infectious disease ever — it’s no other than KINDNESS.” — Josh Balerite Acol
This poetic piece is a responder to my friend, Sahil Patel’s 8th day prompt:
“Write a poem about an act of kindness. Be kind and be gentle. It will make you a better person.” — Sahil Patel
I do hope I have given justice to it. Please refer to the link undermentioned:
