Pain Comes With Living

Day 7 poetry prompt

For once every single day I can feel the most severe pain

each moment of my life makes me suffer worst heartbreak ever

— wounding gripping til I can breath no more

then something inevitable happens when I began embracing enduring strains I smile through it appreciate life treasure my loved ones everything around

that’s when I can sense no longer grief

only love making me cherish more merely courage keeping myself stronger than before

boosting to face a million more hurts truly it’s a normal thing with life

now, looking back I do realize those ills made me grow into what I have aspired to know

a penner legendary bearer of aches, and dreams — though life has pushed me down it’s always possible to pull round

“I have made a vow to myself — whatever happens, however painful my journey will be, I must go on, try my best to come through. After all, I am not the weakling ‘me’. I am what I dream to be.” — Josh Balerite Acol
