I just saw Vice President Kamala Harris speak with Charlamagne Tha God on his new television show on Comedy Central called Tha God’s Honest Truth and it got testy. If you are a fan of The Breakfast Club, you know that Charlamagne has a talent for pushing people’s buttons. Well he pushed VP Kamala Harris big time and she got pissed. The picture above says it all. There was a point where Kamala got up and waged her finger at Chalamagne and was like “Joe Biden is the President!” It was the craziest thing I ever saw. I thought it was really funny and cool to see, personally.

So this interview with Charlamagne and Kamala — what stood out to me was that this interview was exactly like the interview had with President Joe Biden during the election. Charlamagne and Joe Biden went head to head and Joe Biden got so pissed out that he had to end the interview early. So Charlamagne is asking him the good questions — pretty much jabbing him in his gut — and Charlamagne doesn’t give up. If you notice during the interview with Kamala, he kind of hits the same issue over and over again. In this case, it has to do with this guy named Joe Manchin. Now I don’t pay much attention to this guy, but I do know he’s out there and Charlamagne kept trying to get Kamala to break the “blue wall of silence.” The “blue wall of silence” is a wall within the Democratic Party were because they want to maintain this coalition where they got you lumped in where everybody who believes all kinds of weird things where a dude can just decide to become a woman. Where you can be a man on Monday then a woman on Tuesday and then go out here and compete in women’s combat sports and you’re supposed to think that’s normal, right? So for the sake of the coalition, she’s defending this guy Manchin who Charlamagne feels like this guy is a racist, and Charlamagne kept asking the same question over and over again. Then Kamala just explodes. When she starts getting irate in the interview, you hear VP Spokesperson Symone Sanders pop in trying to cut off the interview early just like with Joe Biden. Remember, Joe Biden got so heated to the point he said that if Black people didn’t vote for him then we weren’t Black.

Now, congrats to Charlamagne Tha God for going 2 – 0 against these politicians. I love the job he’s doing; he’s showing his Black card more and more. But, honestly, this wasn’t a serious conversation to me. This was just entertainment. Because if you pay attention to the topics that were discussed in that interview, not one question or answer was specifically focused on Foundational Black Americans. Not one. The whole interview was focused on Democratic talking points where they bring up policies that focus on everybody including us. That “a rising tide lifts all boats” bullshit doesn’t work because Black people’s boat has a hole in it. We as Black people cannot fall for these tricks any longer. The Republicans and especially the Democrats have been using us for so long to put them in office and we have nothing to show for it. If you don’t believe me, just look around your local neighborhoods; look at the education level of our children; look at the wealth gap between Blacks and whites in America. The facts are all around you.
