Comfortable Niggas

Now a few months back, I wrote an article on my Medium page titled “These types of Black people are dangerous!” To this day, it is still one of the biggest articles that I have put out into this space.

Now today’s topic I’m going to talk about comfortable niggas. And the reason why I want to talk about comfortable niggas is that the most dangerous type of nigga out there is a comfortable nigga — a nigga that’s just too comfortable. Have you ever heard the old saying “Idle time is the Devil’s playground” before? Every time I pass by some of these neighborhoods where it’s mostly populated by Black people, that quote pops up in my head from time to time. Because, unfortunately, I tend to see a lot of the same niggas doing the same shit — sitting on the porch of their mama house just chilling, standing on some corner doing God knows what, smoking and drinking all day, dressing raunchy, acting stupid — overall just displaying ignorance. That’s what I see daily with some of these niggas with their hoodrat behavior, a proud ignorance. And the reason why I believe this ignorance is very prevalent and why there’s such pride in it is because these niggas a very comfortable. And that’s the problem that we have in our community, we have too many comfortable niggas. Niggas are so comfortable, they have too much idle time. And it’s not just down south, this is in every hood in America. The niggas that you see in the news doing these drive-bys, shoot-outs, and the rest of that stupid shit, these were comfortable niggas; these were niggas that lived at home with their mom. These niggas are in a comfort zone so they have the time to do all this stupid, ignorant, and self-destructive ass shit. You see, a lot of times, when you are a busy person, and you got things going on in your life, you got bills to pay, children to take care of, and other responsibilities to handle, you just don’t have time for stupid shit. Pay attention, when people don’t have anything popping off in their lives, they engage in some of the dumbest, ignorant shit that you can imagine. One of the biggest pieces of advice I can give to anyone, especially these young folks out there, is to stay busy. Stay busy, stay productive, and stay away from these time-wasting ass niggas.

When I was young, my mom always told me that a person can do either two things in life: live or exist. And you got so many niggas out here just existing. Be sure that you won’t be one of them because there is so much of life out here to see and experience than to just waste it on things that don’t add value to your life.
