Just Picture This
Smile Hiding Mind-Ghosts

Man is not the sum of what he has already, but rather the sum of what he does not yet have, of what he could have — Jean-Paul Sartre
Waiting for the phone to Ring. Silence.
There are days when it is night. No. Not in its usual attire of stars and moon, Just a grey veil surrounding us, making light penetration Up-hill.
Wait….that’s sunny and bright outside, Is it the mind slowly drowning in the dark —
Patience, stifled and suffocated, slips through the window Takes a stroll in the white, Anger, like ghouls encircling the soul, Walls around exhaling the un-inhaled,
The only saviour, Ego, Wrapping vulnerability tight, Soft tissues invisible,
The phone needs to ring.
To scream, To shout, To send a punch across, To let know of the pain, seething, simmering, layering the dermal sensitivity.
What’s fiction armed with a smile, Is deep reality veiled from the world, smart-jacketed,
The viewing gallery has no spectator, but maybe one….
The phone has to ring.
Uuuff….it’s hot in April Dark, messy, mushy, coffee giving headache, May be Chamomile Tea can help…
The phone needs to rrr-ii-ng…..
Cring-Cring….Cring-Cring Cring-Cring….Cring…
Hello..Ha.Ha..No..No.. It’s all staged heart-achy, Writing my next fiction I told you…

Points to Ponder: Introverted Us brave the world with a smile.Trying to make them believe we are well, when it’s dark all the way.Whom are we fooling?
Just pick up the phone and call.
And if by universal grace, that phone rings, don’t shy away. Because the caller and the receiver, in that case, for sure, know a little more….
Opening their hearts, Ice and water became friends again — Yashuhara Teishitsu (1610–1673)
In response to April 2nd week prompt:
Do you ever struggle with your mental health? How does that make you feel? Write down your emotions in the form of a poem. If you never had gone through this, then write a fictional poem that explains mental illness.
