THIS OR THAT

JD’s Very Scary Horror This Or That Challenge

Spooky Things That Go Bump in The Night

He’s laughing at all your answers! Photo by Sabina Music Rich on Unsplash

As I chronicled in my last published article, I tried stealing (borrowing) Jason Provencio’s mojo to get myself back on track. I swear I had the purest of intentions.

I only wanted to garner more reads, more claps, more comments, and more money. It wasn’t too much to ask for, was it?

Unfortunately, my chin hair flip just wasn’t epic enough to control and properly channel the power of the Godfather’s mojo.

His mojo wouldn’t work for me. That’s what happens when you steal from the Godfather of Medium.

Recently I started watching The Sopranos for the first time and noticed how similar Jason, Rusty, and the rest of the BBB discord gang are to the characters on the show.

I’m not saying that was what prompted my instant return of the Godfather’s mojo. But I can say that I didn’t want to be swimming with the fishes.

Capisce?

Also, I figured it would be ok to tag Rusty Shackleford in this since I’m doing it in a meaningful way. Read his blog about one of his biggest pet peeves here.

He really abhors the constant and shameless wall of tags some people employ to get more views. I didn’t want to resort to blind tagging either because apparently, it’s against the rules. It is quite a brilliant strategy because the person tagged has to read whatever you’ve written looking for their name but can never find it.

Now you see it. Now you don’t.

With the mojo returned, I had to come up with another strategy. In the past when I’ve come up dry, I always had a favorite go-to who would never fail to get my juices flowing again.

That person would be none other than Brett Jenae Tomlin and her inspirational This or That Challenges. I realized immediately that there wouldn’t be another ToT coming until April at the earliest.

At first, I got quite sad. I literally cried. But then I had an idea.

A notion to pluck a page from Brett Jenae Tomlin’s own playbook and create my very own This or That Challenge. So I did it. I hereby challenge everyone and anyone to complete this horror-based ToT.

That’s right! The topic covers anything and everything encompassing the horror movie genre. So let the scary game begin.

Make sure all the lights are on. I wouldn’t want anything to happen to you while you’re answering these.
