January’s Writing Prompt Contest: “I Write because…..”
This prompt is about defining your reasons for writing
January’s Writing Prompt Contest for all Writers and Poets is “I Write because…”.
What is your reason for writing and do you remember the first time that you picked up a pen or typed the first line? Were you just inspired to write or did something happen in your life that made you want to express yourself in your writings? Were you inspired by a movie or a dream to take up the pen to write? This prompt will help you to discover your reasons for writing.
I picked up a pen to write a few decades ago because I found that I could affect more changes in the world by what I wrote instead of what I expressed vocally, which was soon lost to the winds and forgotten.
I would like other writers and poets to take part in this prompt contest. The Winning Prompt writer will get a special feature in Writing101.
This writing contest is open to all Medium Poets and Writers. Kindly “tag” me, Warren Brown in your post and you can publish your work on any Medium publication or on “Writing101”.
I am sending out an open invitation to my Fellow Writers, Readers, and Followers to use this prompt to stir their imagination, for the month of January 2022. Set your imagination free. Thank you for your kind participation and interest in this prompt.
The last day for entry Submissions is 25th January 2022.
