The Many Reasons Of My Whys
A poem about why I write

I write because there’s something I need to tell you. Words you don’t want to listen to Words wanting to break free from silence If someday you’ll change your mind Find me between the lines I am just there waiting for you.
I write because there are things I wanted to say but I never did I am not a coward It's just I don't have the courage to hurt you and be misunderstood They are better to be hidden Between the pages of my journal.
I write because there are words Hidden in my meekness Need to be uttered Before they shattered me I have decided to write them To ease my restless mind My pen is now burdened.
I write because there are words wandering in my memory I need to write them Before my memory fades away And decides to say goodbye They should be here to stay All the fondness of yesterday.
I write because there are words I want to tell you But you are so far away If they reach you Don't throw them away Please read them Even if it takes forever.
