I’ve Come A Long Way
When I sit at my desk today and think back to the time behind me, I sometimes find it hard to believe how my life has turned out. It could have been very different.
I was not always hard-working and creative. Anyone who would have got to know me between the ages of sixteen and twenty-four would not have bet a cent that I would one day become something.
I drank and rebelled, and I didn’t care about my future. I was an angry freak who wouldn’t take responsibility for anything. I avoided work whenever I could.
I was a punk and punks spit on the future.
If you want to know what my life has been like since then and how I pulled myself out of the swamp, read my article My Transformation From Punk To Prolific Author.
