It’s September Already!

Where has the year gone???

In the header picture there are the erigeron daisies that still refuse to grow on my place but happily grow out of walls and obscure crevices everywhere else! Plus apples against a blue sky.

Above is a pic of rosehips. September is the month of plenty. That’s fab.

BUT —

Where has this year gone? Wherever it’s gone it still just keeps on going. I do everything in my power to slow it down but nothing really works.

The only thing that seems to slow it a bit is if I do things differently for a while and then change them around again.

The work still has to be done so I make sure that different work is done.

It seems to help. But not enough. The way the years whistle past at speed is pretty terrifying.

Even PupperJack is often struck with the seriousness of it all. No longer a prancing puppy he is now a prancing old-puppy. I caught this pic of him (above) in a moment of rare doggo-reflection.

You can tell that he’s also shocked it’s September already.

One of this week’s garden-wall-finds was this courgette. I think it’s a courgette that has grown up more than they’re usually allowed to grow up. PupperJack wanted to take it home being more interested in veggies now he’s older and more health-conscious, but I avoid cooking as much as I can.

This is the time of year when the garden walls around here will start to be covered with home-grown fruit and veg.

Like the apples in the header picture — there will be apples everywhere!
