It’s not what you say, but how you say it that matters
That’s why you’ve got to focus on having a good voice on paper
I’ve to tell you this_ else you’ll only be chasing the wind
Chase the wind and you wind up broke, and stupid.
It’s not what you write, its the way you presented it that’s gonna determine how well it’s received.
Readers will soon be paying attention, make sure you have a good voice on paper.
If it’s sweet, they ll stick around, if it’s bad they ll snob you and look out for someone else.
If you ask me which to choose between good content and a sweet voice, guess which I’m gonna choose.
You know it.
The sweet voice of course.
That’s the cool choice.
If you have a sweet voice, any content you write has the Midas touch and that’s priceless.
You get that?
Good.
Excuse a minute.
Don’t go astray on that, however.
Practice both_ sweet voice and good content.
My second thought.
Cos I’ve seen young writers gone astray on stuff like that.
They take what you tell them to the extreme.
Young dude gets too extreme on stuff and I suspect you may do sam here.
No. Don’t.
In this game of ours, nothing is exclusive.
Few Ideas to have a fine voice
Trial and error, baby.
It’s the same old key.
1. Try a couple of stuff day in day out.
Check what works and what doesn’t.
Do what works and leave what doesn’t.
This is the hard part:
‘’Failing’’
You’re gonna fail a lot of times.
But listen to me:
Don’t give a fuck!
It’s nothing.
You will learn. That’s what’s something.
Failing is a friend
Failure is the enemy.
Another idea:
2. Read read read, then write.
After writing, edit and review.
That’s not all.
Next ➡️:
Hear your self.
How does it sound?
You will know when it sounds sweet and savory.
Trust your ears_ they are good enough.
If it sounds good, hit the publish button.
Let the world see what you’ve got.
Relax and feel good about yourself.
You’re done.
Hive yourself a break and show up tomorrow.
Period.
