Happy Dance.

It is tough, but it is possible. Can you make money as a Medium writer? I read from Abena Talks that one writer earned close to $20,000 for one article.

The short answer is that it is possible. Nothing is impossible.

The last time I made over $100 was in October 2021, and I tried to create exciting stories, but I always ended up short. So maybe I did subconsciously give up. Until I changed my thoughts, and it manifested in February.

Never give up.

While it takes a lot of hard work and time, it is worth it. And one thing that I learned from all this is not to give up.

One of the rewards I got from this journey is that I can write faster through time, which alone is a win. Writing is a valuable skill.

I don't know where this journey is taking me, but like everything in life, only at the end shall I have my answer.

For now, I can only be happy, thankful, grateful, and in awe of this blessing.

And it was a personal letter to myself, reminding me that I'm not poor, and my life experiences prove it to be true.

I’m rich!

I'm rich. The good and the bad experiences are all there to make me a better person.

I have to change the way I view money. I often would be Ok with money, and it is when I allow the fear that more money becomes elusive.

So, here I am, rejoicing the money I made in February 2021.

I need to be in the happy money flow for money to keep coming, and I know that I will have more money than I ever can imagine in March 2022.

We know that money can't buy us happiness, but it can help us experience happiness.

How did I make $114.07 in February 2021?

If there is one lesson I can share with you, this one would be it.

The more you write, the more you will hit it big on Medium.

I have stories from the past that would suddenly find their way back and add a few cents or dollars. I learned to be proud of my one-cent stories early on because they add up. One hundred one-cent stories make a dollar.

There is always room for improvement. There will always be stories waiting to be told. Some of the stories that will come our way will not make us money, but they come to us for a different reason.

To anyone just starting with their Medium journey, while it isn't easy as life isn't easy, one thing I know for sure is that writing is rewarding, and while Medium isn't the be-all, end-all of our writing journey, it is a great place to start and a great place to learn.
